ZOZ objects can be ubiquitous - page 3

The technology I seek is one that disappears.

I read of a Zen concept of the art of finding a perfect painting to hang on a wall. It should of a nature that no one notices it. No one should say "Oh, what a beautiful painting!". They should just have a general feeling that this room is a nice place to be.

Arthur C. Clark said, "A sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

That is close. But even magic is noticed. I want to go a step beyond even that.

I don't want you to notice a ZOZ object and exclaim "Wow, that thing is magical!" I want it to draw no attention to itself whatsoever.
